Everytime I zone:

I get free AA points
My quest log rolls back
I loose all buffs cast on me by other players

Please take the servers down until you can figure this problem out!

I zoned and had 1 free AA
I zoned then I had 2 free AAs
I zoned then I had 6 free AAs
I zoned then I had 12 free AAs
I zoned then I had 28 free AAs
I zoned then I had 60 free AAs....


Seriously WTH!?

只要过ZONE除了AA点数保留以外, 其他在这个ZONE发生的事情都消失掉

从周五晚上一直持续到现在, 问题还没有被修复...服务器好像刚刚才关掉的

The servers will be coming down shortly to fix some issues with buffs dropping/quest issues.  There is no ETA in regards to the length of time this fix shall take.  When there's new information, I'll update this post!

Informational update!
The present issue was caused due to a recent hotfix meant to assist in the issues of a very few players, hence the odd circumstances now.
The gremlins that caused this issue have nothing to do with Legends of Norrath.

There's still no present ETA for the fix's completion.  The team's working feverishly on getting the troubles ironed out.  If I hear anything more, I'll update this post!

And now, for your regularly scheduled downtime announcement!

Yep, still working on it.  There was a database issue that effected a small amount of servers, hence the reason to take down some and not all of them.  Being able to save character information is a good thing, and some of the naughty servers decided to ignore that requirement.  The team's working valiantly on correcting the issue. 

As usual, if I hear more, you shall as well!

Hour'ly update!

Sadly, no new news on the 'front.  There's been volleys back and forth, but still no reprieve to the fight...  Oh, wait...  this is supposed to be about the server issues.

*ahem* Well, then...  No new news, sadly.  The database folks are still working their digits to the nubs in hopes of getting the trouble resolved and the servers back once more.  If I hear more, I'll continue to update via this post.  If I can not, I shall have Grimwell or others do the same, to ensure that you're fully informed as to the situation.

伟大的SOE-EQ2小组已经连续奋战了10小时，UP的服务器只有一半，似乎每20分钟都会有一些进展……

I'm taking over the mic as official time giver and information dispenser.

At this point we are estimating another 3 hours for Mistmoore and Oasis and up to 6 hours for Sebilis and Runnyeye.

Although Splitpaw is up, its loginserver is tied to Runnyeye so no new players will be able to access it until Runnyeye is back up.

If these estimates change at any point I'll update the thread further.

啥情况

把服务器版本先变回打补丁前不就行了。。。别说没备份。。。听说CEQ2要炸尸？还有PSOL也要？这2个同时来我该选哪个呢？还是指环王。。。。

仅仅是恢复数据和版本,花上几个小时是正常的
但是仔细看就能明白,简单的回溯根本没用

嗯，这次的原因SOE已经说了，新的补丁是针对一些玩家的角色出现异常而UPDATE的，并非所有玩家都有，但打过补丁造成全体玩家的数据异常……

问题就大了……

而且服务器有先有后的恢复，有些服务器反复DOWN了好几次，这不是一个小的工程……毕竟HOTFIX的改动不亚于任何一次的LU……

We are attemptng to bring up Oasis and Mistmoore right now but running into a few snags.  We should have them ironed out shortly and have the servers back open son.

Update on our remaining closed servers:

We should have a good ETA for Sebilis in the next hour or two.  We are hoping it won't take much longer than that to open it back up.

We are in discussion about some problems we are having with Runnyeye and I will update with an eta once that is resolved.  Once Runnyeye is back up that will also restore access to Splitpaw.

Access should now be restored to Splitpaw.  We are running some internal tests on Runnyeye and I should have details on what is happening with that server in about a half hour.


 


09/01/2007 04:59:38 - RE正在启动中！我们将所有角色的数据重置了，同时我们做出一个艰难的决定将服务器的数据也重值到PDT时间8月31日早晨7点。这虽然算不上一个解决问题的办法，但眼下，这是我们能力范围内唯一可以做的选择。现在只剩下SEBILIS服务器了，预计一小时之内就可以恢复。

Runnyeye is in the process of being unlocked. 

While we tried to restore all the character data we ran into several problems and made the difficult decision to restore the server to its state at 7am PDT on Aug 31st.  I know that this is less than ideal for everyone but it was deemed the best of our limited choices at this point.

We have one remaining server left to get up and we should have more news on Sebilis in about an hour.

15个小时……SOE用所谓的不是办法的办法解决一团乱的局面，不知道是喜是忧，刚刚放出LU38更新内容前瞻和面对11月13日即将RELEASE的RISE OF KUNARK的DEVs似乎不知所措。

祝福SOE，祝福EQ2的开发小组，15小时会失去大量玩家，但也会吸引更多的玩家关注EQ2 DEV，这支敬业的充满自信的大胖子组合。
